The idea of spending 50 minutes a week on each of several things was an abject failure, so I'm going to try a somewhat different approach this month.
In terms of life list items, I'm going to continue working on reading the entire Bible. My intention for October is to finally finish Ezekiel and push on through Daniel. I'm also going to finalize my plans for my next vacation, which will check off a place on my life list.
One of the reasons things end up in the study nook is that I haven't sorted out actual places for them to go. So I am going to go through at least 10 of the folders I had to take out of the filing cabinet when I moved, toss what I no longer want from them, and put them back in the filing cabinet.
My mother will nag me ad infinitum if I don't finish writing the Madagascar travelogue this month, so it should be on this list, too. That will also enable me to put a few things away, which I have on hand as a reference.
I've also been in a crafty mood and I think it would be a nice idea to actually finish one the numerous crafts projects I'm in the middle of.
I'd normally say something about getting more sleep, but this is October and the baseball postseason will inevitably get in the way of that.
